Showcasing work
Hi, I'm Laura, I have been working as a Graphic Designer for the last 5 years working on various projects which are showcased in this portfolio. My experience has been successfully applied to helping brands build their customer base and deliver impact for companies/clients. I am passionate about design, thrive on a challenge and love how a message can be conveyed through thoughtful design to capture and engage an audience.

01-Haven
Branding
This project showcases work for a cleansing product brand. A minimal design approach was adopted, incorporating a carefully selected colour palette to give the brand a luxurious aesthetic. The brand was named Haven to evoke a sense of warmth and familiarity with the brand.

02-United Nations
Illustration
I submitted a piece of artwork to the United Nations Covid-19 Awareness Campaign, aiming to portray the great efforts of
Frontline workers during the challenging times.

The submission for the United Nations Global Call
out competition on Covid-19 was selected to be
featured on the UN First Day Cover for Covid-19.

03 - Leaf & Bean
Branding/ UI
This is a project creating branding for a cafe and online shop. The brief involved creating branding that elicits comfort and familiarity and would be a good place to meet with friends/ clients that provides a relaxed environment and affordable and good quality products.
With the primary colour scheme linking to tea and coffee, the branding has been kept minimal with the use of green and brown as the primary colour scheme. A logo and logo mark were created to expand the visual identity.

04 - British Army
Branding/ UI
This was a team project that involved creating a campaign to encourage more young people to join the British Army. The strap line 'Proud to be labelled' was the key message used across the campaign, to give a sense of pride and belonging in the army environment. In this message there is also a nod to fashion labels, to associate with a sense of belonging and pride to being part of a community .

05 - Non-endemic examples
Branding
This project involved creating non-endemic advertisement examples to show a collaboration between Tesco and products/ services that Tesco do not provide. This included sectors such as Autos, Government, Financial services, travel and entertainment sectors. The artwork included OOH screens, magazine, onsite display, Scan as you shop devices and goal post placements.

06 - Brand Pages
Digital Design
Brand pages are a great way to spread awareness of a campaign to customers. A brand page includes several elements that improve the customer journey.

07 - Pernod
Digital campaign
This was a large campaign for Pernod Ricard that I worked on that was live over the Christmas period. It involved creating a variety of digital assets across many clients to advertise alcoholic drinks and cocktail recipes for use on Tesco's website. The brands included: Absolut, Havana, Malibu, Malfy and Jameson to name a few.
